Instead of cutting or clipping the hair, it mimics a dog's natural shedding process to make room for a new, healthy coat to grow in with the correct wiry texture and rich color.
*NOTE- The Schnauzer pictured gets carded or rolled coat and does not undergo a full handstrip process per the owner’s request, but produces a similar result.
